G.J.Lovie Gordon J Lovie was brought up in the North East of Scotland. His father was a fish salesman from Fraserburgh, his mother is originally from Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides, and lives there today. Gordon's recently completed 'WITNESS' is a self penned CD of his own Christian Testimonial experiences, recorded and produced at Floortom Productions in Clola, Aberdeenshire. The songs reflect his experiences throughout his conversion to born again Christian, and the subsequent changes within his life over the last two years. A passionate writer and lyricist, coupled with his messages of "witness", integrate in the production of this work. Gordon is an adherent member of the Salvation Army (Peterhead Corps), along with his wife, Ann. They have associated with the Salvation Army since the start of their new Christian life in 2004 and try to attend as many Army events as possible, as well as spending time with two wonderful grand daughters. Gordon was born in Oban in 1964, brought up in Fraserburgh for the first thirteen years, and then Aberdeen for the "teen years". Gordon has recently achieved a few awards for his songwriting, and was a semi finalist in the Pop category of the 2007 U.K Songwriting competition for his single track 'Soldier of Mistrust'.
