The second release from one of Wales' most talented singer / songwriters, "Wish" is a collection of twelve of Gary's most recent compositions to be released on Judmusic Records. Gary's previous talents have been spent over the years as lead vocalist and guitarist with various country bands. This experience has been instrumental in the production and compiling of these songs and as a talented guitarist and harmonica player, Gary has used these instruments to great effect on this album, no wonder he is often referred to as the "Welsh Garth Brooks". Gary is well known throughout England and Wales where he can be found at various venues performing his varied set, comprising of moody ballads and exciting country rock, including the haunting "Things we could have done", the full-on guitar driven title track "Wish" and the controversial "Prairie Thunder", that deals with issues surrounding the plight of the native North American Indians. Gary has also gained somewhat of a reputation in Europe, and particularly in the nightspots of Tenerife, an island where he occasionally lives and performs. Following on from his well-received Welsh language debut release "Yr Unig Un" (the only one) in 2005, with an appearance on the S4C magazine programme "Wedi 7", "Wish" is sure to appeal to music lovers of all ages, with something for everyone.
