Gospel; A teaching of Jesus Christ, a doctrine regarded as of prime importance, something regarded as true. Musically speaking Gary Samuels represents just that, truth. When you mention Gospel music, many can't help but to envision elongated divine ballads, repetitive three part harmony responsive chants, or simply monotonous recordings. However Gary Samuels breaks that mold. A New Yorker, with deep routed South Carolina history, began singing at an early age, and was taught to sing by his mother and aunt, the late Beatrice Samuels, and Madam Susan Patrick. Gary knew early on that he wanted to sing after hearing his mentor Linda Hopkins. Having not heard any original music rather a plain vocal rendition sung by Gary Samuels in their initial meeting, C.E.O. Jaeson Marks of Versatile Entertainment uttered "magnificent'. With a debut CD single 'I BELIEVE' from his forthcoming album entitled 'Soundtrack of my soul' scheduled to be released in the spring of 2009, Gary's shows his ability to encompass the traditions of Gospel music, as well as incorporate the sound of today's music. In addition Gary has finished filming his debut music video, which was shot in high definition. Gary is a regular featured artist at the annual spring 'Madrid Gospel Workshop' held in Madrid Spain. Where he orchestrates numerous voices in song, and has an enormous following. Currently he directs Prayz'n Hymn Ensemble, who perform on a regular basis, around the metropolitan New York City area, and can be heard on his album. At present he is taking part in a huge public relations campaign of radio station and media campaign, in an effort to popularize his music, as well as attach a face to his music. In today's time of sound and music constantly evolving, Gary Samuels is and will remain a constant. With his ability to evolve his sound, Gary will prevail timeless. Gary is ready and prepared for all challenges that might be presented, while on this path he has chosen. His primary goal is "To reach as many people worldwide and bring them the same joy from hearing my music, that I get while presenting my music" Gary has come a long way from the early days in his career when he was told he couldn't sing, by his peers. And to quote him yet again, from the titled song 'Soundtrack of my soul' "Here's the story that's yet untold, here's the soundtrack of my soul".
