Derelicts & Broken Dreams
Missing Scene is an all-original folk and rock group that has been creating a stir on the Tokyo live scene for nine years now. Having released their first album - Derelicts and Broken Dreams - they are eager to continue breaking down the walls of genre and assembly-line pop to create a new kind of experience, one that everyone can relate to, one that everyone can be a part of. Geoff Hash (originally from the U.S.) has been writing music based on his experiences growing up in rural America, learning about life in Queens in New York City, and finding more questions than answers in the whirlwind that is Tokyo. His music has received national American radio airplay, and is available worldwide. Drawing on a variety of influences from Bob Dylan to Bright Eyes, Missing Scene continues to create something that is at the same time unique and familiar. Meaningful lyrics and catchy melodies, combined with their country-and-folk-tinged music, make for an irresistable listening experience.
