George started playing guitar at the age of 9. He was brought up on the Beatles songs, the Byrds and a little bit of everything in between that the 60's had to offer. When he was 14, George saved his money and purchased his first Martin D-35, which carried him into his career. He started playing at high school dances, which led to performing at nightclubs full time. George has a love for finger style guitar music, being influenced by Chet Atkins, Doyle Dykes, Laurence Juber, and many others. He has a passion to involve himself in a world of finger style guitar enthusiasts. George teaches guitar clinics for Martin Guitar & Co. ®, does session work and has produced and played on 9 CD's. He also publishes music for his company, Cedar Top Publishing.
