Product Notes

Graham Hudspeth's musical endeavors began in garage bands in Bowling Green, Kentucky's rich musical culture in the 1970's. As each musician improved, he inspired and challenged fellow band members to excel. Collaboration remains key for Graham Hudspeth's musical development, creative explorations and lively performances that have spanned the time since the early 70's to the present. Graham, since retiring from his 'Real Job,' has been more actively pursuing his musical interests than ever before. He has recorded or preformed with such artist as Bill Lloyd, Grammy Award winner Curtis Burch, Skip Cleavinger, Chris Carmichael, Kyle Daniel, and many others. Graham's proficiency with electric and acoustic guitar, bass, and Irish bouzouki, allows him the versatility to compliment and contribute in bands playing different genres of music. He explores his interest in Celtic music with Uilleann Piper Skip Cleavinger and Violinist Chris Carmichael. He also performs with local singer/songwriter Jack Montgomery in the duet called Shadowdancer that features his work on the bouzouki. Shadowdancer's music has received wide radio airplay as far away as Wales and the U.K. Graham keeps in touch with his garage band roots as he plays bass and sings with local classic rock band Cootie Brown as well as an occasional appearance with International Blues Challenge finalist Kyle Daniel Band. As author and editor, Kim Mason said in her article on Graham in Southern Kentucky's regional entertainment newspaper The Amplifier, 'Graham Hudspeth serves as a good starting point to network with the area's talent. He claims to be 'blessed to have a group of friends and brothers to fill in for or throw together a band' and undoubtedly many of the area musicians know they are likewise blessed to have Graham.'
