Welcome, in addition to this internet location, you can access Photographs etc. At eloquentrecords.com If you are unable to listen to an audio sample, how can I describe to you what my music sounds like? Perhaps the following review will give you an idea: Date: November 19, 2002 Quote: 'Those high, dancing notes feel like raindrops on the soul'. By Jennifer Layton, Indie-Music.com These lovely piano pieces invite your mind to wander. Timepiece is Gregg Jarrell's debut of contemporary solo compositions, and those high, dancing notes feel like raindrops on the soul. In some places, the notes blend into each other without actually becoming chords. It's a beautiful flow, and like I said, my mind started drifting. 'You and I' wants to be sung. I started imagining who could sing the melody of this classical ballad. For some reason, I'm thinking Roberta Flack, even though her voice is deeper than these high notes. Maybe I like the contrast. Whatever. The music didn't want me to analyze it too much. I moved on. 'Sweet Dreams' sounds almost pleading, and I started wondering if maybe the music was asking the listener to just let go and stop worrying and be peaceful. Again, whatever. I closed out the CD on 'Center of Tranquility' imagining a gliding dance along a moonlit path. If you have a tendency to think too much, here's your CD. Just play it and gaze up at a starry sky.
