Ther First Shade of [Import]
Obscure, sick, depressive, blood chilling, hypnotic, ghastly. This is Grey, a individual project from France debuting in the market with "The First Shade of (Grey)" It takes a few minutes to submit to Santhem's dark creation. This album is the typical cold stone that would have become a mysterious Cult in the 90's, like happened for example with bands like Manes, Kvist and Thorns back then. Probably today's scene has no dedication anymore to create new cult bands, but no way this can be ignored or underrated. It's a fact that newcomers are often too easily and cheaply signed by labels, but it would have been a crime for our label to pass on this album. And after all we're also conscious that many times almost improvised projects like this have much more to offer, artistically, than consolidated semi-pro metal bands. This is an ideal soundtrack for a solitary death.
