GROOVATRON IS A BAND ON THE RISE. This funk rock sextet from Chicagoland, busted onto the scene in early 2002 and have quickly risen to become on of the Midwest's top drawing college acts. Their philosophy has been simple. Perform as many shows as humanly possible. In fact, Groovatron has performed over 350 shows since the beginning of 2002. But what is more impressive than Groovatron's quantity of shows is the quality of the gigs they have been playing. Groovatron has linked up with just about every jamband under the sun. They've jammed onstage with Peter Apfelbaum of The Trey Anastasio (Phish) Band, Vince Welnick of The Grateful Dead, and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Their sound is all their own and people are starting to take notice. SO COME ON AND GET IT ON WITH GROOVATRON!!
