Haley E Rydell
Haley E. Rydell was born n' raised in the flatlands of Fargo, North Dakota. She began playing the violin at the age of three and picked up her first guitar at thirteen. She taught herself to play and dreamed of someday playing in a band. In 2004, Haley moved to Duluth and joined the jam/americana band Noble Haze, in which she played violin. After a year, Haley moved back to Fargo to pursue a degree in Music Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead. There she joined a newly formed bluegrass outfit made up of 5 strapping young fellows from the Dakotas. The six call themselves the Johnson Family Band and perform all over the midwest. Haley began writing her own music in 2005. She was chosen as Dragon Studio's first ever 'Featured Artist' and was able to record her first 5 song EP. She is currently working on a full length album which is set to come out spring of 2008. Haley also plays violin in the Fargo Moorhead Symphony Orchestra, First Lutheran Chamber Orchestra, she is the concertmaster of the MSUM Symphony Orchestra and she sings an plays guitar and electric bass in Saving Reign, First Lutheran of Fargo's worship band.
