Like most singers, Holly started singing at a young age. She has been involved with various community and church choirs and ensembles throughout her life. Music was just a hobby until the summer of 2004. During that time, while her husband was deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom, Holly had a life changing experience. Through prayer, God spoke to her and told her to write music. Jesus said," What is impossible with man, is possible with God (Matthew 19:26)." That has been the theme in Holly's life for the last two years. You see, Holly hadn't played an instrument in over 25 years, so the idea that she would actually write music was almost incomprehensible. She took piano lessons and music classes for a year and then God led her to Dove nominated singer/songwriter Elmer Cole. Elmer took Holly under his wing, mentored her and helped her get the songs God had given her onto a medium for others to hear. Holly's debut CD "I Believe" came out in July 2006. It includes 11 original songs filled with passion about God's love, grace and mercy. The music pulls the listener in to Holly's faith and life experiences. Holly's music is all about God's power in our lives and about Him doing the impossible through those willing to say "Here am I, send me" (Isaiah 6:8). Holly continues to write, but is focused on promoting the songs God put in her heart. Through singing and speaking engagements, she is determined to get the messages out to a hurting world so that all will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
