'We are challenging the way people listen to music with our sound', says Honey Bear Klik's producer Maddy. 'The way I see it, if you can chill witchya peeps, drink, make love, and drive 55 all to the same CD, you've got something!', Maddy laughs, 'Positively!'. Off the Records, an Indie Label out of Billings Montana, continues to utilize the compositions and beats of it's co-owner Matthew (MADDY) Kennedy. They have given him the task of putting together a group for longevity, and bringing new sounds to the world. The band is the Honey Bear Klik. The album is called LMNTAL (elemental). Their style has been dubbed 'Mountain Blend'. There are three members of the Honey Bear Klik, Tim Chamberlain, Dustin Jesperson, and as we said before Maddy. Off the Records recruited DJ Kraze, a known DJ on the Pacific Coast and Northwest for his excellent skills as a turntableist. Dustin Jesperson comes in with a sweet tone for vocals, and the three together have something refreshing and different. They are in a word, 'eclectic'. If you don't like one song there will be another one on the album that takes you there. They are from Billings Montana and in a reflection on life in that area, they've created their sound, particularly to sound good on road trips, around campfires, and back porch barbques. A lil' somethin' for the many moods of the day.
