Humboogie: comments on airsong album by AEP 1) my 2nd living-room: could happen anywhere, anytime, anyplace. Everybody's got a second living room, especially when they feel they got to get out of the everyday environment, to get some "fresh" air, meet some "fresh" people and have some good time. Anything can happen there. Of course, you can always go to an imaginary second living room. 2) perform dead: some bands will and want to stay live, while the others don't have the same approach to music. This is a pro live music -song, not a pro tools one. It's not anti-anything, it's pro-choice. 3) airsong: if you think you are not musically talented, you are wrong, beacause you can always choose an air instrument: guitar, bass, drums or anything, and jam to the groove of this laid-back rock song. 4) flowers: float and swim in the sea of sunflowers, think of the one, count the petals and find out whether the person loves you or not. Don't let the chainsaw guitar solo fell your flowers... 5) treehouse. A safe haven for you, either you had it as a kid, you can dream of it or you will get one in the future. This could have happened to you. Flashes of childhood. 6) the blue flame. A miniature road movie: anti-materialistic declaration for your independence: by not listening to what they say, how they move, what they own, how they dress and what they think about you. This is a true story. 7) bad tequila. Originally an urban legend, the story evolved to include some serious hassle, so the final lyrics are pretty far from the "my friend of a friend visited Spain last summer" kind of story. Includes a guitar riff from hell - or the bottom of a tequila bottle. On shaky ground. 8) john blund. Originally the sandman, this creature can take a form of a deranged lover, a burn-out anaesthesia doctor or an action film star who jams your mind, big time. Ingredients: eerie sounds. 9) it's alright. The morning after, a crazy narrative on a drunk, or a drunk narrative on a crazy, you decide, but don't take it too seriously. 10) My 2nd, a reprise. If you're not sure about the meaning of 'my 2nd living room', check this! 11) the cycle: an interpretation of the poem "The Wheel" by W.B.Yeats. Also a meditative slow rock, including a nearly positive approach to the cycle of life.
