Hunter Harvey is a singer songwriter from the music soaked city of Memphis, Tennessee; home of the blues and the king of rock n roll. An old soul with a modern edge with influences from Elvis and Uncle Tupelo to Gram Parsons and Dwight Yoakam. Traditional yet refreshing country roots inspired songs filled with humor and heartache. In early 2000 Hunter moved to California and shortly after to Montana where he worked and started crafting his songs, playing the occasional dive bar and coffee house. After leaving the gloom of long cold winters, he returned to southern California where he recorded his debut album at Sound Asylum with the help of friends from Got It Productions. Good Morning Sunshine was released in early 2005 which has received local and satellite radio airplay and was supported with a California and southwest club tour that included opening shows for Mac McAnally, Dick Dale and Rocco Deluca. Now the wheels are spinning once again and recording has begun on a sophmore follow up to Good Morning Sunshine at Melrose Studios. Look for release in late 2007!
