Sound Waves Equals Show
I Sing the Body Electrc, in the studio, was comprised of the two founding members Niles Thomas Maddox and William Joseph Payne for this album. All songs are written and recorded by the two entirely in their bedrooms. Their debut album 'Sound Waves Equals Show' was written and recorded over a period of six months, a complete D.I.Y. project using garageband, a Motif ES6 Keyboard, and guitars. The rest of the group, the live band, is comprised of 'The Congregation of Light.' As a choir, each individual member plays certain aspects of a drum kit and assorted percussion instruments, as well as their vocal talents. In March of 2008, William left the band, but Niles continues to write and perform live...so be on the lookout for I Sing the Body Electrc! With a wide array of genre bending sounds and uncommon lyrical practices the songs are made. So....give them a listen, give them a look, and join the congregation! I Sing the Body Electrc is here to deliver scientific and humanistic truths, whether we want to listen or not. 'I am all that I am or have ever been, I am me and all that I will ever be.' -I Sing the Body Electrc.
