Sacred Places in Israel
Igor is a one-man band who plays any type of keyboard or synthesizer.Born in Russia, he graduated from the Gnesin music college, one of the most prestigious in Moscow.Over the following ten years, he concentrated on playing the piano and synthesizer, as well as composing and arranging.He played in live performances with a number of Moscow bands. Soon after moving to the United States some twelve years ago, Igor founded the Pasternak Family Ensemble which included his wife and their two children, all musicians.Since then, he has been arranging and composing for this group, which performs various types of music in the tri-state region. Igor has named this CD 'Sacred Places in Israel'.It has been inspired in him by the images and spiritual power of the world's sacred places to be found in that country. The music falls into a broad spectrum of New Age Contemporary Classic, Judaic New Age,Electronic New Age, and Soundscapes.It may conceivably play a part in multimedia events where lectures, poetry, or slideshows are combined with music in such venues as art galleries, museums, healing centers, as well as schools and religious occasions.
