Bodies Are Electric
INNEREYE \'Universal Pigeon'! and so began the long and extremely tedious road of choosing what words to call a band. Luckily, the Innereye boys have a cunning linguist in the backbone, who promptly crushed what was looking like the only, and atrocious, name option! This three-piece Bangor based band emerged from the Northern Irish music scene late 2007, rising from the ashes of previous rock incarnations. The individuals concerned have always had a passion for meaningful lyrics, catchy rhythms, and beautiful pop melodies, with the sole importance of the music being the music. Their authenticity is shown in the fact they not only have talent but also raw determination and experience, something perhaps rare in todays music culture. \'Handmade music\' best describes their approach to creating songs. Music grown out of an organic environment through friendships and journeying, not forced or manufactured! With 'Bodies are electric' already released, and working with such giants as Matt Hyde (Funeral for a Friend, Razorlight), Innereye are certainly a band tipped for bigger things.
