Navigating the daunting halls of Radnor High School in Pennsylvania during the mid-1990's, Jason listened to the sounds of the Counting Crows, Smashing Pumpkins, and the Dave Matthews Band, often daydreaming that one day he too would stand in front of hundreds of people, play songs that he had written, and watch the crowd sing along. The problem with that dream was that he had no clue how to play a musical instrument and was too shy to speak two words in front of a small gathering. By the time he had finished high school, he had dismissed this dream as a childish fantasy, having made no progress towards it's realization. Graduating from Bucknell University in 2001 with a degree in Business Administration and only a beginner's knowledge of guitar, Jason accepted a job as an analyst at an IT consulting firm, only to quit a year later to embark on a journey to 'find himself.' Unfortunately, this journey ultimately led to unemployment and moving back in with his parents. In need of a passion and a direction in life, Jason picked up his guitar and began writing his own original music. Already an accomplished humorous poet, Jason initially intended to write only joke songs, penning 'Go on a Date,' which reflected his unfortunate dating life at the time. However, after writing 'Isabel' and 'Radiant Night' in the following months, he quickly realized that he had a knack for depicting life's challenges, triumphs, and adventures through stories that inspired and connected with his steadily growing fan base. Through countless open mic night performances and gigs opening for more established musicians, he quickly built up the courage and the competence to headline packed shows at the top venues in the DC area. With the release of his debut album, Patiently, Jason has been able to take the final step towards achieving his childhood dream.
