Jason Lang has been described by friends and critics alike as an extraordinarily talented artist and musician. Son of Canadian folk music legend Penny Lang and the late renowned American folk singer Dave Van Ronk, Jason's music is rooted in the folk tradition, and his strong pop sensibility gives his songs a wide appeal. He has written and recorded with Roch Voisine, Luba, had several top-twenty Canadian country hits with Loggerhead recording artist Denise Murray, and has worked as a musician on gold, platinum and diamond records. Before jumping out of the shadows and into the spotlight, as a much sought after sideman Jason toured extensively throughout Canada, Europe and the United States with many of Canada's best and well known artists including Amanda Marshall, Roch Voisine, Luba, The McGarrigle Sisters, Isabelle Boulay, France D'Amour, Richard Séguin, Luce Dufault and Veronic Dicaire to name a few. Jason has also produced seven albums, was the recipient of three Felix Awards (Quebec's equivalent of a Juno) and received a Juno Award nomination (Canada's Grammy).
