Jeff Greenleaf composes instrumental music in numerous genres for several TV production companies. Featured in over one-hundred television programs, Jeff's catalog of music has risen to over one-thousand songs since his initial publishing deal in 2008. You may have already heard Greenleaf's music on these well-known channels: ABC, NBC, CBS, HBO, Lifetime, E!, as well as on Bravo. Other popular networks playing Jeff's work include: MTV, VH1, OWN, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC, The CW, Esquire, Oxygen and CMT. In addition, his tracks are often cued on: Adult Swim, Biography Channel, Hallmark Channel, WeTV, and the TV Guide Network. Jeff released two albums in 2007 - Chill Factory and Dragon Eyes. Chill Factory is a combination of chill out, world, and soundtrack music. "I wanted to record an album dedicated to relaxation," explains Greenleaf. "It started out as a simple project focusing on droning hypnotic soundscapes, but it quickly morphed into something much more," Greenleaf recalls. While Chill Factory is decidedly atmospheric, it also includes some beautiful world music inspired from Jeff's experience in the University of California - Santa Barbara's Middle Eastern Ensemble, Indian Ensemble, and Balinese Gamelan. "As an anthropology major, I focused my cultural interests strictly on the arts, specifically ethnomusicology," adds Greenleaf. On Chill Factory, songs such as "Sleepwalk to India" and "Bali Sunset" take the listener on a musical journey throughout the Far East.
