Whole Inner Stalking
Jeff describes his playing as 'fingerstyle guitar.' You get some sense of what he means but it's only clear once you hear and see him play. He makes one guitar sound like three; lead, rhythm and bass coming from the same instrument, maybe even some percussion by thumping the guitar body. In fact, he plays the entire instrument from bending the body to playing the neck like a keyboard to strumming the strings on the head. He is a joy to watch and the performance is amazing with only one guy making all that music. Jeff has opened for Pierre BenSusan, Adrian Legg at the Jammin Java in Vienna, Va. and Wynnona Judd and Trisha Yearwood at Wolf Trap. This summer he will be playing a special concert in his home state of South Dakota with Jerry Jeff Walker. He has three CDs of mostly original fingerstyle guitar; the latest is titled '12 Angry Women,' and is considered by many to be his best work.
