Jennifer Benson is a mover. In a life that has taken her around the United States and abroad, Jennifer has found solace in both God and her music. Her love for music started in her teens. Jennifer joined high school and church choirs and challenged herself vocally by taking voice lessons. Her performance skills were polished through various singing competitions as well as her band Pierced. Life took a turn when her marriage brought her across the ocean to Germany. Still, her passion for music grew. Competing in vocal competitions, Jennifer won in vocal group categories. She also explored her voice in songwriting. Eventually, she would find herself back home in Chicago, Illinois. Jennifer's music is very real. Drawing on inspiration from God and her daughter, she blends her life experiences with an authentic sense of encouragement. Her vocal inspirations are as eclectic as her spirit. From Alanis Morrissette to Pink and Pat Benatar, her voice rings clear all her own. Life is full of possibilities and Jennifer is excited to embrace all that lay before her. She is currently booking performances for her original pieces. Always keeping what is truly important at heart, Jennifer is now a Child Ambassador for World Vision. Yet, another way her music is reaching people with it's message of hope.
