Artist Bio-Jennifer Jill Schwirzer For the past twenty years, Jennifer Jill Schwirzer has performed her unique brand of acoustic music all over God's green earth-Zimbabwe, Honduras, Zambia, London, France, Canada and the United States. With a soprano that ranges from cute to tragic to ethereal she belts out her carefully woven, literarily rich lyrics. A typical concert or recording spans the gamut of human emotion, silly and light one minute and agonized the next. She has been called a "Christian Joni Mitchell" too many times to count, but has also been compared to Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Sting, Alanis Morisette and Jimi Hendrix. Residing in Philadelphia with her husband and two young adult daughters, Jennifer runs Michael Ministries, a non- profit corporation dedicated to the communication of the gospel through word and song. Jennifer works as a psychotherapist, having completed her Master's in Mental Health Counseling degree in 2008. In her spare time you might find her cooking gourmet vegetarian food or visiting the library. She loves dogs, children, old people, Bach, authentic folk music and fresh culinary herbs. She hates taxes, the department of motor vehicles, shopping, materialism, racial prejudice and the devil. If she sounds like someone you could relate to, it's probably because she is.
