Jessica Something Jewish formed in early 2004 as an escape from lackluster guitar and vocal emotional ballads. The purpose was to create a new sound, for which everyone could appreciate. Some of it is made for dancing, some is made for swaying. The message is unclear, but is slowly revealed through the vague metaphors ever present in the lyrics. Never tying himself to one subject, James Glines, the creator of JSJ, finds a way to tell the difference between the most important subjects to the most obscure and inconsequential things imaginable. JSJ's accomplishments include: Australia and New Zealand Tour 2006 (20+ shows) West Coast US Tour 2005 (5 shows) 2006 (7 shows) Full Length CD Release 'Seattle Calls' 2006 JSJ has shared the stage with international touring acts such as: Tegan and Sara, Ash, VHS or BETA, Shiny Toy Guns, The Ditty Bops, The Bravery, Walter Meego, Dan Deacon, Aqueduct, Rocky Votolato, This Night Creeps, Lapush, VCR, Mixel Pixel, Viva Voce, The 89' Cubs, Hot IQ's and many more.
