For everyone there are certain click-points in life when you put things on "pause" and ponder who you are, where you are, where you've been, and where you may be going. They may be dictated by birthday or calendar dates. They may be tied to events or turning points. Every thinking person has these moments. Sometimes, these moments may stretch into hours. But for me these moments often stretch into songs. Songs on the album in some ways they all are more or less about me, my life experiences, and my world view. With that said, there are three songs on the album that I didn't write. They are songs sung in the 1960s that I really didn't think that I'd sing again. They were worn-out. Compiling this collection, however, I decided they are still relevant in this century. They are hopeful. They are optimistic. They are all in the key of C, so they appear in sequence. So, if you will, put things on "pause" and ponder while the music plays. They are some of my "Reflections".
