This Time-Limited Edition EP
A great Country / Roots Rock Record! Hot on the heels of Ten World's well-received first release, Resolve, This Time boasts straight-from-the-gut songwriting and outstanding musicianship. 'We're ecstatic about our work on This Time,' says John Haydon. 'In terms of songwriting, band unity, production, and the clarity of our message - we've moved to a totally different level.' Over the past ten years, John has performed and recorded with Boston bands including Five Dollar Milkshake, the Somervillebillies, and Matt Griffin and House Afire. John's love of great writers and a dream to pursue his own projects launched his songwriting career at age fourteen. In recent years, John's interests have included Steve Earle, Son Volt, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Wilco, Bruce Springsteen and Freedy Johnston: 'I especially respect those artists, like Johnny Cash, who write songs for and about common people. The strong feeling that I too had something to contribute eventually led to the formation of John Haydon & Ten Worlds.' John's sincere and direct songwriting style may be compared to Lucinda Williams and the late Gram Parsons. The four-track EP opens with the infectious Tom Petty-style rocker, 'You Got Me Lost', followed by the heartfelt determination of 'This Time' and the searing death-penalty ballad, 'One Way To Go'. The solo acoustic track, 'Where There Used To Be Tears', closes the EP with poignant self-reflection. In response to popular demand, This Time was released in advance of the full length record titled She's Gone, which is also available here at CDBABY.COM.
