Johnny Shot is a retro/rock-n'-roll band based on The Big Island of Hawaii, who's members are all long time vererans of the music scene. Front-man Neil Barnett, a native of Great Britan, recorded in London with Paper Fish for over 12 years. Matt Brown was a 10-year veteran of the Boston, MA club circuit and a studio musician before bringing his talents to Hawaii. His virtuoso guitar skills and flawless vocal harmonies shine through in every Johnny Shot performance. Holding down a tight and driving rhythm is the tandem of Dave Ojeda on bass and Scott Knauf on drums. Dave Ojeda is a 12-year veteran of the thriving music scene in the San Francisco, CA bay area, where he performed with the group Blues Express. Dave moved to Hawaii in 1998 and joined the band The Now, sharing the stage with blues legends like B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Robert Cray. Scott Knauf, a New York/Jersey native, played for the prestigious New York State Music Association's Jazz Band at the young age of 16. After playing in various bands on the East Coast, Scott relocated to Hawaii where he met Neil Barnett in 1996, forming what would eventually become Johnny Shot.
