Swann weaves a dreamscape of haunting melodies and lyrics about love, and love lost. Accoustic guitar based music creates a mood of introspection. Four lively songs, 2 featuring drums, interweave nicely with 6 slow tracks using keyboards, bass guitar, mandolin, cello, French horns, and various percussion goodies. Swann played most of the instruments on this album. Butch Holt supplied some tasty slide guitar licks on several tracks, and Shauna Jones captures the mood with her dreamy, sensuous background vocals. Craig Kalousek plays mandolin on 2 tracks and adds a ripping Van Halen style lead guitar played through twin Marshall stacks to 'How Ya Gonna Take It', a slow, surreal number that picks up intesity through the lead guitar solo then slows back down to a soft, penetrating finale. Whew!!!!!
