Bauman was the co-founder and music coordinator of the summer concert series 'Music At Penn Alps'. He was Music Director and Conductor of the Penn Alps Chamber Orchestra, the Symphony Under the Stars Orchestra, the Western Maryland Symphony, and the Potomac Highlands Symphony Orchestra. The intimacy of the String Chamber Music is irresistible. The individual instruments, melodic lines, and combinations are very personal. Recorded by outstanding Italian musicians, the compositions in the String Chamber Music, Vol. 1, include a duo, violin with piano, violoncello with piano, a piano trio, a piano quartet and a work for string quartet.
