Baghdad Blues is the story of 4 friends brought together by war. Josh DiStefano, Steve Mohacey, Chris Kerley and Brian Archer toured Iraq as part of an Army band playing for the troops. This music is Josh's vision of the Iraq experience, for better or worse. It's moody and dark and steeped in groove. He captured the long days and hard nights, the bonding of brothers and prayer calls, and the family left behind. They played these songs for the troops all over Baghdad and the surrounding areas. It was a long year, but bringing music to those who need it most is always worth it. Close your eyes and imagine yourself sitting with the soldiers in Baghdad, drowning out the day's events and getting lost in the music. Baghdad Blues was written and recorded in Baghdad, Iraq. A percentage of the profits from this album will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. A non-profit organization dedicated to helping soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
