Two Tone Circles
Jubeus is a harmony-driven rock band featuring elements from nearly all styles of music to create a cross-cultural appeal amongst listeners. Originally formed in 2000 at Longwood University, the five members of Jubeus proceeded to construct over 40 original songs while performing as a house band amongst their campus venues. Their energetic live performances continue to draw crowds and earn regular gigs in Richmond, where they decided to move following graduation. After spending nearly a year in the studio, Jubeus has just released their debut album, 'Two Tone Circles,' recorded by former Agents of Good Roots bassist, Stewart Myers, at Wishlist Recording and Dragonfly Studios (home to artists such as John Mayer and Jason Mraz). 'Two Tone Circles' showcases the band's ability to blend various moods and styles and receives considerable airplay by Jay Smack at Richmond's 102.1 the X and college radio stations around Virginia. In addition to the promotion of their album at various venues and festivals along the east coast, Jubeus also performs a wide range of cover songs to cater to private parties and weddings.
