Kelley Hill is a former advertising executive turned stay-at-home mom and has been writing songs all her life. Born in Longview, Texas, she grew up in California, and graduated from UCLA with a degree in psychology. She studied classical piano for 14 years and also plays guitar. Actively involved in her local church, she has led contemporary worship on and off for the last 12 years. Recently, she entered the American Idol Songwriter's Contest and placed in the top 20 out of 25,000 entries with her song entitled, 'One Night.' "The River," represents six of her favorite faith-based songs, including a Christmas song. About her music, Kelley said, "Songwriting is a great outlet for me and I especially enjoy writing songs about hope; life can always change for the better." Her favorite artists include, Kathryn Scott, Nichole Nordeman, Carrie Underwood, Josh Turner, Taylor Swift, James Taylor and Rascal Flatts. She lives in Southern California with her husband Lewis and three beautiful daughters.
