Where does my music come from? To say that I got it from my mother would probably be the best way of putting it. I was fortunate to have been born to a woman who was consistently involved in show-biz and whose musical compositions have been performed for England 's own Queen Elizabeth. Even before recording music reached it's present hi-tec state, making our own musical instruments and learning how to play them was a way of life deep in the jungles of my homeland, the country now known as BELIZE. After moving to HOUSTON in 1978 and after being introduced to recording, I attempted composing my music using equipment that I was totally unfamiliar with.. That lead me to a familiar place in southwest Houston . a recording studio then called BIG 40 PRODUCTIONS. There I met Mr.Clarence Parker who produced and engineered my first recorded single \'I LIKE IT\' , and my first album, INTRUDER, in 1992. In 1993 I met someone who became a big influence in my musical career,a songwriter , composer and performer known to this day as the famous MAJOR RILEY. Together with THE MAJOR and another close friend named Geraldo Carlyle we wrote ,recorded and released \'BORN IN BELIZE\' produced by Mr. Parker in NEW ERA RECORDING STUDIO a recording studio that I had built with the technical assistance of Mr..Parker. .This song then proved that my musical career was heading somewhere I only previously dreamed of. After releasing \'HOT HOT HOT ' another single, followed by \'SUMMERTIME\', I headed in yet another direction. After closing down NEW ERA RECORDING STUDIO , I shifted my focus towards recruiting and producing local talent . From here emerged solid success such as Major Riley \'VOLUME\' and \'ANOTHER SOUTHERN CLIQUE\'. At time ,I also had the opportunity of colaborating with \'SCIENCE B\' and also DANNY and ORVILLE ADAMS of the YARD BAND INTERNATIONAL. My accidental encounter with \'DARB\' who is still one of the most talented producer songwriter and engineer that I have met proved to be more educational and informative than anything else . For three solid years DARB helped to take my writing to yet another level. As 2001 drew near Mr.Clarence Parker was again back on the scene suggesting that he produce my next release. My new CD \'Ken Sanchez\' produced and co-written by Mr Parker you will find out is trully a work of art and a reflection of unselfish contributions from those who shared what came from within.
