Brother 2 Brother
One listen to the Kesler Brothers and you will instantly recognize the influence of great blues artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix. It is not until you take a second look that you discover these rock solid guitar lines are being played by two boys whose combined age is only 25. Caleb Kesler, age 15, has been playing guitar for three years, and brother Caden, age 10, has been playing bass for two years. Although they've been playing only a short time, they have grown up in the shadows of a dad who once played professionally. With dad being their greatest inspiration and biggest fan, Caleb and Caden are beginning to step into the spotlight. They made their first appearance at Jump, Jive, Jam Fest in their home town in early 2005. Shortly after, they finished 1st place in a battle of the bands at a local festival beating out 9 bands. By the way, they weren't only the youngest, but the smallest, (3 piece). That's how this c.d. project came about. They won 10 hours studio time. Unfortunately, they went over on time. The Kesler Brothers are in the process of having a music video produced also as a result of the Battle of the Bands (to be released later this year.) The Kesler Brothers had a huge write up in the local paper on New Years Eve morning. The writer happened to see their appearance at the battle of the bands. They have also had an appearance on Clear Channel Radio promoting their newly released c.d. This interview lasted approximately 20 minutes. As you can read, The Kesler Brothers have been quite busy. It is our hopes you find their debut CD authentic, interesting, and hopefully, original. But most importantly, you can say you heard of these kids when their combined age was 25, before they took off and made it big. Thanks for reading and listening! Hope you ENJOY!
