Here I Is
As unknown and underestimated as his home town of Ontario, California, Kevin Dyer, aka Kevoe, is a representation of a hip hop movement that continues to grow independently from it's metropolitan counterpart. The reality that Kevoe presents in his debut album "Here I Is," is a product of a lifetime under the shadows of a large neighboring city and the false stigma that envelops his suburban surroundings. Kevoe has been creating music since he was nine years old. In 2004 he became part of URBAN POETS CREW, an underground hip hop coalition dedicated to delivering reality and quality through it's music and poetry. Kevoe's debut release, "Here I Is," comes packed with creative flows and tracks that will have any trunk bumpin' for days to come. It's for the hip hop head and club-goers, for poets and musicians alike. The almost perfect relationship between flow and track is due to the fact that Kevoe co-produced every single track on this album. "Here I Is" exudes hustle and pain, reality and desire in a fluid and creative musical voyage. Kevoe is definitely someone to keep an eye on, proving that the Inland Empire has a lot more to offer than people think.
