Kim Rea is a singer-songwriter from Denver. He has been writing and performing on acoustic guitar and piano for decades longer than he'll admit to, blending folk, blues, pop, rock and country. His biggest inspirations were Ry Cooder, the Beatles, Mississippi John Hurt, Dylan, Paul Simon and the Amazing Rhythm Aces. Kim Rea's songs cover a wide spectrum, ranging from the serious ('Oil', 'More Than A Dream', and 'Beyond All Words') to the goofy ('Elvis Ain't Dead', 'Call Me Big Dick', and 'It Ain't Love 'til You Give It Away'). He has two c.d.s out, 'Sister Dancin' With A Chicken' and 'Only Human').
