2010 release. Ensemble Adventure, one of the world's leading performers of contemporary music, devotes a substantial part of it's artistic work to performing works written by unknown, displaced composers. As such, this CD's sub-heading could be: Masterpieces written by re-discovered composers, who were harried by the Nazis through performance and emigration bans. Krása and Haas were murdered in Auschwitz. The CD is an impressive documentation, and in many respects gives an insight into the torn history of the music of the 20th century.
