Founded in 2001, Knu-Life Entertainment is an up and coming record label on the west coast that emphasizes on getting unsigned talent the much needed exposure by releasing albums, massive promotion, and booking performances. The founders Mike 'Melo' Evans and Evan 'Klimm' Clementin are two young entrepreneurs with the drive and ambition to hopefully make some noise on the west coast. Evans a music producer who was once an intern for Ice T's Coroner Records got involved with the industry at an early age when he started performing in local groups and learned how to make music at an early age. Klimm is no stranger to the rap game either, a former DJ whom at the age of 17 worked for one of the biggest street promotions team on the west coast and by 18 formed his own company has promoted albums for Janet Jackson, Harlem World, Wu Tang Clan and many other artists and was also an A&R/Promotions intern at Virgin Records & Thump Records. 'We feel that there is a lot of unheard talent out here on the west coast and we feel we got the right staff and team, and ability to get the attention of a major label.'
