Let Go Revisited
Everyone tries to write something that will engage the reader. No one couldn't have said it better than this reviewer.... 'Having been a music fan for many years, I continue to search for those artists talented enough to both write and sing outstanding works. From Carole King's 'Tapestry' to Sinead O'Connor to the Beatles and Norah Jones, these combined talents are very few and very, very far between. With Krissy Linde, I have certainly found a candidate to be included in this select group of incredibly talented people. I have listended and reviewed 'Let Go' and find the songs profound, somewhat mesmerizing and filled with thoughts and emotions spread out upon a keyboard in a symphony of true emotions. I have auditioned this work of art to friends and co-workers and it's always the same responses...'What an incredibly pure voice!'....'What beautiful, thought-provoking songs!' 'I could listen to this CD over and over and over'. From truck driver to housewife, from young to old, the response is always the same....'fantastic!' Hopefully, the record industry will realize that one of the reasons for their decline is the decline in talent and the quality of music that they offer. Hopefully, they too will then realize that people like this artist are out there waiting to be recognized for the incredible talent they have that are willing to share. Listen and then spread the word...you too have found a wonderful, wonderful set of thoughts and emotions that you too can share!' Songs such as 'Let Go' and 'I Miss You' draw you in, while 'The Soldier' remains pure and simple evoking emotions strong enough to make real soldiers wipe the tears from their eyes. If you have a father, listen to 'Daddy' - it says it all, while songs like 'Roundtrip to Nowhere', 'Flawless' and 'Come Home' are anthems for anyone who has ever seen a relationship go wrong. The beauty of the music is that it varies by song and is incredibly listenable, giving you the opportunity to focus in what you want to hear the first time and visit the songs time and again for pure music pleasure.
