Bringing back what Rock n' Roll songwriting is all about, variety and absolute conviction. Last Picture Show delivers. A melodic sanctuary to keep you safe in a world of force fed monotony. They'll take you as deep as you want to go. Hailing from LA and Toronto, LPS has a rapport together that spans years and with years comes experience. The clubs are filled and the fan base is growing. Canada and the USA are in queue, with the world in sight. Hold on tight 'cause things are about to change. What started as a reunion has ended up as the beginning of a union. The mergence of two former bands, the Modern Day Braves and Benjamin, form Last Picture Show. When Joe Roncetti, once lead vocalist for both bands, went back to Toronto for a visit some shit went down. A gig was booked, the band was assembled, and the roof of the Drake Hotel was completely blown off with a sold out show. Nothing less then natural was that night and magic like that is not ignored. Now with management in place and a Californian and Canadian tour booked the guys are about to embark on a huge campaign in support of their debut record 'Quitting Time'. The 13 song disc consists of some awesome musical highlights with the help of their friends Rolling Stones background singer Bernard Fowler, keyboards by Ivan Neville, and some guitar and production by Robbie Nevil. With an emphasis on variety, a concept missing on a lot of newer records, the boys decided to make an album they wanted to hear. From moody, atmospheric rock to their own hybrid, garage soul, 'Quitting Time' captures it all. With the swirling forces of destiny meeting the power of conviction to the job that lays ahead Last Picture Show is ready to claim what's theirs. And so from the immortalized lips of Marvin Gaye 'Let's get it on'.
