What Do I Know?
Laura DeLallo has been rousing crowds from the Northeast to the Midwest with her passionate voice, steady string play, and catchy pop-rock songs for more than 10 years. Laura has played venues large and small from her hometown of Norwalk, CT to Columbus, OH. A few of her favorites have included the SoNo Arts Celebration in CT, Columbus Pride Festival in OH, and the Village Underground in NYC. Laura organized the Fairfield County Women Who Rock! Festival in 2003 and continues to work with local artists, male and female, to ignite the original music scene in Fairfield County, CT. Besides her own EP and two full-length albums, Laura is featured playing drums and guitar on several other recordings. Her first full-length CD, The Whole Truth, has seen successful Internet sales through ITunes and other digital distribution outlets. Do you want to hear pop? Rock? Reggae? R&B? Can't decide? No worries-you'll hear bits and pieces of all of them in her songs. That's because her influences are diverse-Ani Difranco, Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, Dave Matthews, and Toots and the Maytals to name just a few. Trumpet, violin, clarinet, drums, and guitar--Laura's been playing any instrument she could get her hands on since age 9. Luckily, she stuck with the guitar and her years of study show in her intricate rhythms. Music has been a constant and a great passion throughout her life-you'll hear it in her songs. Laura has the unique ability to make you bounce AND make you think. You'll leave Laura's shows with a smile, a friend, a great workout, a lot to think about, and one of her CDs. What's better is that she can do it alone or with her band of accomplished musicians. Together, Laura and her songs will engage and enrapture audiences of all ages and musical tastes.
