Legendary Dorothy Prince Memories
Dorothy Prince born in Oceola Arkansas, when she was 9 months old her parents moved to Chicago, Illinois. It was in her very early years that Dorothy developed a strong desire to sing. After studying voice, she was able to sing professionally in which she sang with her brothers and sisters with her mother acting as their music director and pianist. There music took them all over Chicago. Her music was now in demand which prompted Dorothy to perform solo. She record her first releases 'I LOST A LOVE'; 'HEY MISTER'; 'SEEK AND YOU'LL FIND'; 'WHY NOT TONIGHT'; and ' IF I COULD LIVE MY LIFE ALL OVER AGAIN' on McPac Label. After marriage Dorothy and her husband set up their own record company entitled Prince Records. Many viewed her voice as the sound you would never forget. Dorothy released her first album 'ELECTRIFYING VERSION OF ALL TIME HITS'. The album went to a plateau that she never expected. Dorothy's music has taken her many places in the world and she has entertained with such talent as The Dells and many others. Teaming with Zachary Prince an artist in his own right who writes, composes, directs, and performs as a lead guitarist,the two have been in much demand. Dorothy Prince sings Blues,Jazz, and R&B as no other artist could. Dorothy is ELECTRIFYING!
