Blueprint for a Robot
Lincoln Conspiracy, the Boston based piano-power-pop trio, is a truly one-of-a-kind band. At it's heart lies their songs, majestic tunes that recall classic rock, new-wave, and singer-songwriter compositions that are timeless and modern, witty and sincere, hard-edged and melodic. In concert, Lincoln Conspiracy's high-energy show leaves fans wanting more, as they tear through their set with an intensity that would tame the hardest punk bands. Their 1998 debut, 'As It Stands', drew praise as 'infectious...with tight song playing and skillful songwriting' (Vassar-Misc. News) and 'a disc that defies easy comparison' (Tampa Tribune-3 out of 4 stars). They have returned in 2001 with 'Blueprint for a Robot'. Recorded at legendary Fort Apache studios, the just-released disc features eight new soon-to-be classic tunes brimming with muscular musical arrangements, layered vocals and enthusiastic performances.
