Liquidform is an alternative hip hop artist that has been influenced by everything from Led Zeppelin to Louis Armstrong, but when he first discovered the west coast hip hop scene of the late nineties he would be forever changed. Falling in love with the styles of early Jurassic5, Blackalicious, Hieroglyphics, the Shape Shifters, Freestyle Fellowship and many more, Liquidform began championing his own brand of hip hop music. He eventually earned the handle Liquidform due to his unique ability to flow through different styles with a fluid transition between anything from straight hard battle rapping, to old school rhymes, to singing rock vocals. In 2003 Liquidform released his first solo project, Absolute Zero, independently. In 2004 and 2005 he began building his reputation by winning the Mics of Fury Mouth of the Midwest title three times in a row and defeating MC\'s from Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, and Madison in the process. In early 2007 he released an album with his live band Minds Eye Rhyme titled The Brink. In the same year, Minds Eye Rhyme\'s guitar player James Wood also won the title of Best Guitar Player in the state of WI. Later that year, Liquid released his sophomoric solo project Beautiful Future under the Madison, WI based indie lable, Lowkey Productions. The solo album has production by Memory, The Jolly TaxPayer and Man Mantis to name a few and contains everything from a love song to a political dance track. He is now in the process of working on a hip hop duet with partner Memory (aka Hedfone Jack) called Isodynamics. Liquid is an artist that defines himself through his content, but prides himself in his sound and delivery. You may hear him drop a flow that reminds you of a mainstream radio song that you\'ve heard a million times, but upon analyzing the content you will see that this is not your average pop song writer. He will also come at you with innovative styles that you\'ve never heard before and yet still feel natural. The whole idea of Liquidform\'s music is to reel in the listener with a great beat, a tight delivery and an incredible live performance, then keep them coming back because they love the message. If he has his way, he just may change a few minds in the process.
