Different Bodies Different Places
Steppin' Out Magazine said 'Liz proves you can run the gamut of emotions with only a voice and an acoustic guitar.' Her lyrics have been credited with reviving the art of storytelling while her stories weave us through our challenges and relationships like an unassuming friend. Prior to concentrating on her solo career, Liz spent many years studying both operatic and contemporary vocals, classical guitar, piano, violin and cello. During high school she lived in a small northwestern town in Russia, where she became an avid songwriter. This collection of songs was written during that time. In 1998, Liz formed her own record label, Naked Noise Records in order to release her debut 'different bodies, different places' on a larger scale. Now nearly finished with her second full-length release, Liz is busy performing at least twice a week.
