This all original, full length album is a departure for Liz Lannon. Though inspired by the blues she explores other genres as well. 'Desire' has a distinctly Chicago feel but 'Whiskey Chicken' and 'I Gotta Wash My Car' are rock tunes that have many layers of sound crafted into them. 'Skinney Rocker', a reggae tune with a tragic narrative, and 'Country Man',is as country as it's title suggests. Lannon finishes up with the rootsy 'I Can't Cry Anymore', and the jazzy 'Sweet Love' featuring some whimsical whistling and intimate vocals. There is a tongue and cheek quality to many of the songs, after all, Liz wants you all to have fun and enjoy listening.
