On a hot August day in 1977, the same day that Elvis took his final breath at Graceland, Loguey was born into the world at a military hospital in England. He spent his childhood travelling the world eventually settling in Cardiff in 1984 and whilst at school began to study Guitar, Bass Guitar and drums. Loguey's Musical influences have been quite diverse and have ranged from Michael Jackson to the Beatles, Guns n Roses to Nirvana, and The Chemical Brothers through to Massive Attack and the Super Furry Animals. These influences are clearly reflected in his music and Loguey has shown an ability to bring together musical genres to create a unique experience that can only be described as Dance influenced Rock n Roll. Loguey gained extensive live experience from an early age, playing drums and guitar in various bands in and around the Cardiff area before deciding to become a solo artist. A stint at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama studying Music technology helped Loguey to develop his production skills which are displayed on his recently released EP 'Look at you'. The next step in the journey was to compile a band of Wales' most aspiring session musicians to perform the songs live. Stuart Oliver and Bryan Jones leant a hand on Guitar and bass for a while before moving on to concentrate on their band 'Ashes of everything' and former Manchild Drummer Elliot Bennett was brought in to provide the beats. With the absence of a Bass player and Lead Guitarist Loguey called in the help of his long term friend and line 6 guru, Jon Hill, to provide lushious guitar sounds and Marc Heatley (aka cornerboy) to pump away on the bass. With Live visuals provided by cardiff based superstar VJ's widelode AV, Loguey's live performances deliver a multimedia event.
