The story of Lone Wolf is a simple one. He has been writing since 9th grade, with real life and the conflicts surrounding it as his main topics. He had no intentions of performing until he discovered that Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, and other conscious performers proved that, while a difficult proposition, that you could make a career out of making a difference. With one pen and notebook, the process started. Through about fifty notebooks and hundreds of pens, forty-two tracks have been recorded, and three hundred are still lying in wait. Music is his voice, his expression, while money and business comes secondary. His goal is to offset the negative stereotype that rap has been given with his own positive message. That positive message involves getting kids away from drugs and gangs, and bringing to the forefront that knowledge is cool. With that idea in mind Lone Wolf crafted his debut album 'The M.E.T.A Knight'. 'The M.E.T.A stands for mental evolution transcends ages, which basically means as long as you continue to strive to do better, be better, get stronger, smarter, or anything, then you can transcend even time itself, especially with art, artist that continue to evolve will continue to thrive, those that don't will fade into nothingness'. Lone Wolf 'The M.E.T.A Knight' is an album that boasts true hip hop style, witty, entertaining, thought provoking, and intelligent lyrics combine with diverse production ranging from straight up hip hop to alternative rock like tracks to create not only a cohesive album but one that is enjoyable for years to come. Lone Wolf covers many topics from love and relationships, everyday life, politics, and even the paranormal, this is hip hop unrestrained and open to all ideas and possibilities.
