Lonnie Lazar has come a mighty long way since releasing SAVE YOURSELF at the dawn of this decade. After a thoroughly exhilarating and enjoyable stint with the Bay Area band THE VAPORIZORS, who plied the clubs and festivals of NorCal until 2004. Lonnie took some time off to be with his family and threw himself fully into parenting his first child, who was born in the Spring of 2000. A deep leap into corporate work in the IP Communications industry led him further afield from his love of music and performance, but he kept playing and writing all the while. In the spring of 2007, Lonnie began fronting a new trio, LONNIE DON'T, who had their San Francisco premier in April at The Hotel Utah. As bands are won't to do, LONNIE DON'T dissolved by the spring of 2008. For the time being Lonnie is in the woodshed, writing and working on tracks in the can. He's on an album per decade release schedule.
