Music has been Lori's passion ever since she was young. The singer\songwriter has taken her experiences in life and created a passion that is clearly evident in her lyrics and music. While performing in Boston with several local bands, Lori accepted an invitation from Ted Turner to sing the National Anthem in Atlanta, live and without accompaniment. She dazzled a packed Braves Stadium. She also wowed the Red Sox fans at Fenway Park a year later. Lori competed in several Country music competitions, NICS, NHCMA, NACMAI, and won Best Female Vocalist of the year and Best Female Entertainer of the year in all three competitions. In addition her Country music song 'Walk Away' was nominated for Best Country Music song of the year. She has also performed at Tootsie's Lounge and The Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville. While singing is her passion, she also enjoys the big screen. She appeared in several movies including The Firm, Blown Away, and Celtic Pride. She was on 'This Old House' with Bob Villa. She also appeared in a rock music video with the band Extreme. Lori is not just about entertainment. She is very active in several charity organizations. She is most fond of her work with 'Angels of the World', a Cape Cod organization involved in building a home for abused children. She enjoyed performing at engagements, and local Cape Cod cable channels to help raise money for this endeavor. She has also donated her performance services for several charity events close to her heart such as 9/11. She collected clothing and food for Katrina Relief. She is also involved with Toys for Tots, Boston Children's Hospital, local Adopt-A-Child Holiday Progam and is also very active with the Salvation Army. Lori is very active in local non profit organizations that rescue unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused animals. She also supports the ASPCA, MSPCA and NHSPCA. She works to educate the public about the need to spay and neuter pets to prevent over population.
